Pretty impressive although there were only two short battles. I've been wanting to do a Mario & Luigi game myself, just haven't. Plus I don't want to invest much energy in fan projects of copyrighted stuff anymore.

As for advice, I assume this will be more like a movie with interactive battles rather then an actual game-game. So I suggest working on your battles, make vary a lot more. Add more options and attacks as quick as possible. As it stands now, the battle is just you clicking and hitting space a few times. And make the partner controllable too.

MetaMike responds:

0 stars? lol what a fucking joke

I like it! Kind of wish it was a run n' gun instead of a choose your own adventure, but that's okay. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Muja responds:

Thank you!
I know, this isn't really a game, but it's the best way I found to convey the plot the way I saw it

I'm glad you liked it anyway!

Pretty good remake of the original. The only disappointing thing I saw was that I couldn't kill the guy in the stall who was throwing shit, but you could in the original. Did I just do something wrong or did you leave that out?

Kenney responds:

I left that out, but by accident. The toilet guy is the last thing I put in the game and I was very tired so I didn't notice you could shoot him :( I will probably come back to this project and add that later on, aswell as fix bugs.

Not bad, but it's too hard. In most cases I knew 8 or 9 but you can't advance unless you get ALL 10 right. Maybe doing it so that getting 3/10 right to move to level 2, and 5/10 right to move to level 3, etc.

baejongkim responds:

You only need to solve six icon to advance

It kept my interest long enough to finish it. Though I am disappointed there were a few things in the house that stood out but served no purpose, like the creepy Mona Lisa pic. It was pretty short too. You use the golden key and then you win.

ccflashgames responds:

Thank you so much to play, yes I know that is a short game... I'm working in another one that is so much better. Whatever, thank you so much.

It sux beyond human comprehension. Did you make this in flash? Why would you need photoshop. I've never needed to use that program to make a good sprite flash. You've got a really long way to go in your animation. I suggest you study other sprites flashes to get an idea of what to do. And why is this listed as a game? It's a movie.

TheDemonShooter responds:

Acctualy i made it with paint.net. About photoshop so i can use backgrounds. But i will use flash as soon as my stupid teacher. stops givin me crap and gives me photoshop n flash.

Few things wrong with this. Firstly, this doesn't look much like the actual game. There's no life bar and you can see the enemy hp which appears as a decimal number and goes into the negative when the pokemon is defeated. The option box doesn't look right either. But a nice start. Why did you post this anyway? Does it have something to do with the project you're calling collaborators for?

RyuXKen responds:

Yeah, I had issues creating a health bar and getting it to work, no matter how many tutorials I follow I just can't get it for some reason.

Thank you, yeah I want to reach out, hopefully to people who are better at programming than I am, to learn from them and get better so I can make better games!

Really cool. It was a tad annoying to switch between mouse clicking and keyboard controls while outside of battle. But that hardly ruined the game. I also couldn't figure out the timing of Wario and Waluigi's attacks for the life of me.

If you had finished this project, I'd definitely play it to the end.

Muja responds:

Thank you for your kind words.
Right now, I'm fixing the controls outside the battlefield. It's not that difficult, really.

For Wario and Waluigi, wait for the LAST moment of their "charge". I hope that helped. ^_^

Fun.

But more options would be nice. I once had a program that would let you destroy whatever was on your computer screen at the time and it gave you weapons like, a machine gun, a flamethrower, acid, flesh-eating insects, etc. That would have made this flash even better.

uglyslug responds:

the "whatever was on your computer screen at the time" isn't really possible in flash but whatever

Pretty generic.

The interactive battle was about the only twist. And why name the villain Mephiles? Something original would have been better.

Cody2819 responds:

Thanks, and well I didn't have an choice. Mephiles is an canon Sonic character from Sonic 06.
