New game is up!

Posted by teejay-number13 - June 30th, 2013

What started as a troll flash on a whim to amuse me and my friends I ended up putting a lot of effort into. So I legitimized and released here and on DA. Be sure to play it so you can pick up some medals!

Current Projects:

Star Wars Tie Fighter Assault SE
Probably the next game I'll release soon. But the file has gotten too big and so Flash is starting to be a bitch about crashing and exporting.

Pokemon: World of Chaos
Yes I know everyone wants it. The scripts for ep 9-11 are written, but now that I'm dropping the sprites, I have a choice to make. Learn 2d animation or 3d animation. I'm equally crappy at both right now and each have their ups and downs. Once I pick a direction, I can see episodes coming out at a much faster rate.

A vote for 2D animation.

2D animation too!!

It's a fun game and the subject matter seems dead-on target!
2D, but whuddo I know, it's been years since I messed around with that software.

I don't see why your dropping the sprites to be honest... I enjoyed the game like feel it gave. If anything you should at least maybe mix the sprites along with 2d?

Mixing sprites with 2d always gets bad reviews. And sprites were waning in popularity before I even started my series. I only used them cause I'm not good at animating. But I know now that I need to kick it up to actual animation. Besides, the next generation of pokemon games aren't even using sprites anymore.

What you should do is do a sample of both styles and post them and use the feedback you get from your audience to decide what type of animation your audience prefers.

Yes I may do that
