Bit disappointing.

The fight was cool, but on the loading screen Necronos had an interesting form with a scary face. I was hoping to see that form towards the end of the battle, like maybe after the sunlight turned him to goo. But it never happened.

Not bad.

Aside from Mario and Luigi, it's nice not to see the usual suspects. I guess my only complaint is that Mario and Luigi seem to be no match for that Sonic guy and then beats him with one sneak attack punch.

I love to review this Sonic sprite flashes and I usually see you guys reviewing them too. And I know you've made some that aren't half bad yourselves, so when I saw you had combined efforts to make this, I was hopeful. But this isn't that good. You have some solo projects that are better then this.
The animation is mediocre at best and the song doesn't really fit. I think "His World" makes a better final battle song. Worst of all, there's not really a story. There's a tournament, but what's the point of it? Why is the series called Sonic Universe? Hopefully, future episodes will reveal more information.

You tried to make it a little original, but you failed. Making an original Sonic sprite flash doesn't mean simply changing the perspective in a "Sonic vs anything" battle. It means coming up with a good plot that hasn't been done before. Your animation skills are good, you just need to couple them with an entertaining story. I don't know what you're planning for this series, but for the love of God, do not use Mecha-Sonic as the villian.

I'm looking forward to more episodes. I have to agree that waiting for the ring is annoying, not to mention it doesn't have a good clickable area.
So you say you did that to prevent people from accidentally skipping text boxes, but how often does that really happen? Not enough to make it worth having to wait for a few seconds after you're done reading for a ring to pop up.
You also say it's to encourage people to actually read the text instead of just blowing through. But if they don't have the patience to read all the text, they certainly won't have the patience to sit and wait for the ring. They'll just stop watching it and give you a bad score. Half reading the text for the whole episode is better the watching only the half episode because they didn't feel like waiting. Do you see what I'm saying?

Thanks. This is the first and last appearance of the button, though, since I finally got a working mic. The text at the bottom of the screen will still appear for people without functioning speakers (or ears), but it'll autoscroll with the audio. Really, the button was an attempt to try and balance convenience with my personal style... Too bad it flopped, huh?

Eh, I'll have to disagree with the Half text/full episode vs. Full text/half episode thing. I'd say both are just as bad, because in either instance, people aren't getting the full story. That, for me, is a loose/loose situation from a storyteller's perspective.

As for the accidental skipping, that's happened to me numerous times, actually. Cat bumps my hand, mouse decides to act up, my hand twitches at an inopportune moment... I don't think a few seconds' wait is all that bad, though. I guess that's just maybe because I'm more patient than most people these days. I guess when you live in a world of instant downloads, constant access to the internet in your pants pocket, and instant gratification every where you go, when you're forced to wait more than half a second for something, you get flustered XD.

Well, you're right. It's nice not to see the usual suspects, like Sonic and Mario. But a Sailor Moon/DBZ crossover is far from original. Plus the story is pretty generic, "bad guy shows up, want's powerful item good guys have."

Your animation and your sprite quality suck ass, but that's something that will improve with experience. A few things to watch out for. Make bigger text boxes, because when the characters said a lot, you compacted the text to fit into the box and it was kind of hard to read. And there were a few frames with text boxes that you forgot to program it to stop, so it just skipped the text box.

A far as your grammar, if english isn't your primary language, then I can forgive. But if it is your primary language then there is no excuse for grammar that bad.

Are you even old enough to remember that game? Anyway, I'm going to call bullshit on youtube making you take these off because of the release of Sonic Unleashed.
I'm having a hard time following this story. There's too many characters and I have no idea who most of them are. Your transformations make no sense, and there seems to be no end to how many times they can advance to another level. Each time the sprite getting more ridiculous looking. I mean, I love it when characters power up and transform but I think your overdoing it. Also, you sometimes declare a character is at their 100% maximum, only to have them power up more later. There's no consistency, or maybe I'm just mixed up because I have no idea who is who. Especially since Silver turned into Sonic, and then Dark Spines Sonic for no reason!
If these really are just some old ones your pulling out of your closet, then how about making some new ones? And maybe slow down the story a bit and introduce the characters at a more even pace.

It actually has my interest. I just hope it doesn't turn into another Super Mario Bros. Z clone. And for the love of god, don't use Mecha-Sonic as a villian. I'd like to see somebody new for a change. And try to avoid using music that has been used a ton already, like the one in the beginning fight.
