[MLRAR - Preview]

Too short.

It was on the verge of peaking my interest and then it ended. You call it Episode 1, but at the end it says "Replay Preview". Was this an episode or preview. I hope future episodes will have more length and substance. Also make sure to stop the music at the end when people hit replay or the music will run together.

Not youtube.

Even if you used flash to add the special effects, it's still tantamount to a live action video. And Newgrounds is for flash ANIMATION.

I'll give you a five because if this were youtube, I would applaud your video.

By far, that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life. You literally just said because you add flash animation to something it still doesn't count as flash animation.

I liked it.

It's very well done and strays far from the plots that most other people doing these SMBZ type flashes are using. Which is good.

My only complaint is your user comment. Don't tell people to get lost if they don't like sprite flashes (or whatever kind of flash your presenting). Are there people who vote down just because it's a sprite flash and not based on how good it is? Yes, but telling them not to vote or review if they don't like sprite flashes is an almost guaranteed way to get 0's.

Your goal should be to show those people that sprite flashes can be worth while. Being rude doesn't help your cause...

Not bad 3d scene.

But if this was going to happen, wouldn't it have happened when Mario 64 came out?

Part of my point is that Mario has been in 3D for 15 of his 25 years... it's nothing new. Doesn't come across really but the theory is in there. This is more of a statement on that 3D where it looks like its coming out of the screen but really isn't... also the fact that I didn't change Mario into 3D, I only changed the environment, I played on the Eyepopping thing that is used a lot to describe 3D days.

You could almost say that your review wasn't powerful enough to overcome the disappointment of its length.

Buggy.

First, it works fine up until Serena transforms, then the background music runs together which sounds really bad. After that, it doesn't pause for the text anymore until after the song is over. I assume, you're trying to keep the animation in sync with the song which means not pausing it for a text box. Well, that doesn't do much good if no one can read the text. Try leaving the text on the screen for a few seconds and then advancing it. I think you need to pull both episodes 2 & 3 down and give them an overhaul. Let me know if you need help.

It's not very interesting.

No story to tell us what's going on. Just some Pokemon who walk on screen, say some stuff, attack each other for no reason, and that's it. With a title like Mystery Universe, you'll need to have a story and setting on an grande scale.

I know like I said in the description, the later episodes will be make more sense. It will actually make a story line. But the attacking pokemon for no reason is referring to the actual games.
