I could not agree with you more.

I wish Square-Enix would go out of business because their glory days are over. No wonder RPGs are dying, because Square turns them all into boring, incomprehensible messes. They killed the Grandia series with Grandia 3. They killed Star Ocean with "The Last Hope" . And Final Fantasy has been dead for a while. Now they're coming out with FF13-2 because you know everyone loved the first one so much (not really). It's like they're disdainfully making them out of obligation instead of inspiration.

I also like the screenshot you used from Skies of Arcadia. That's one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

Just when I was starting to replenish some of my brain cells, then I had to watch this. The "All Your Base" meme is pretty much dead so no need to imitate it's style in your text.

As far as the animation, it sux more so then usual this time. Some of the graphics were just colored blocks you drew in flash. You didn't even take time to find some decent sprites. And your story makes no sense, at least not to anyone but you I'm sure. We need to know too.

I conclude by suggesting that you don't give a shit about your audience (especially since you single them out and insult them on the preloader screen). So why should we give a shit about this flash?

I was maybe expecting something original.

Should have known better. If (Ripped DBZ audio + DBZ fan animation = Lame and unoriginal) then does (Ripped DBZ audio + DBZ fan animation + make characters Hello Kitty = Hilarious?) Not in my book. And the Over 9000 and Batman references thrown in at the end seem like a cheap last minute attempt to grab some chuckles.

Humor, not so much. The trash talk between Goku and Vegeta wasn't clever, just saying F you back an forth. Maybe some witty insults thrown in that reference stupid things in the show would have been better.

You're wrong.

I don't think your model is an accurate representation of how wars start. You make it sound like both sides strike at the same time. The difference of opinion is true, but it usually only starts when one side decides to enforce their opinion on someone else, and the other person fights back. America didn't enter WW2 until Pearl Harbor was bombed and Russia didn't enter until Germany attacked them, etc.

Here's why you get a 0 from me. You implied that all wars are useless and nothing is ever gained. How about freedom? Like when America won it's independence? Or how about WW2 when the Allies stopped the genocidal Axis from conquering the world? I'm sure all the men and women who died defending our freedom and rights will be happy to know we think that nothing was gained from their sacrifice. You have the right to make a flash like this don't you?

Are their useless wars in history? Yes, but your model hardly covers them all.

Too short.

It was on the verge of peaking my interest and then it ended. You call it Episode 1, but at the end it says "Replay Preview". Was this an episode or preview. I hope future episodes will have more length and substance. Also make sure to stop the music at the end when people hit replay or the music will run together.

Yeah, it does need an explanation...

Unless you're new to Newgrounds, you'll know there's already plenty of decent sprite battle flashes that also have stories. Without one, this flash doesn't give much reason for viewers to keep coming back to see future episodes.

Even if you used flash to add the special effects, it's still tantamount to a live action video. And Newgrounds is for flash ANIMATION.

I'll give you a five because if this were youtube, I would applaud your video.

Yes bad.

All you did was trace static images from the tv show and move them around the screen. The dialogue was ripped from the show too. And Goku vs. Vegeta? How about coming up with an original plot. If the plot is nothing but a fight, then how about coming up with an original charcter for Goku (or Vegeta) to fight.
